Space Investment Forum is delivered through a partnership between the UK Space Agency and Dods Events.

Now registrations have closed there will be a review of all applications and you will be notified if you have been successful in securing a place to attend the Space Investment Forum by the below date:

  • Leeds: Monday 11 March 2024

Our team will contact you via email to let you know that your application has been successful and to provide you with the next steps. If you have been successful we will send you a personal link to register for the event at which point you will be able to tell us about any dietary or allergen requirements, and also any accessibility requirements.

If you attended the recent event in Edinburgh and have registered to attend the event in Leeds your application will be considered. However, there is a shortlisting process so it is not guaranteed you will be shortlisted for the Leeds event as preference may be given to individuals who have not attended a Space Investment Forum yet in the event that the Leeds forum is oversubscribed.

Our Advisory Board has been put in place to assist during the vetting processes of applications, pitches, speaker selection and a range of other areas.

Your data will be processed and stored in accordance with our privacy notice a link to which can be found at the bottom of any page of this website.  You will also be asked to confirm you have read our privacy notice when you submit your application.

Please contact us at customer.service@dods-events.com to advise that you are unable to attend. As there are 1-2-1 meetings taking place we will need to make adjustments if you can no longer attend.

Catering will be provided throughout the day along with a drinks reception at the end of the day. If you are successful in your application to attend you will be asked to complete a personal registration form in which you will be able to notify us if you have any food intolerances within the accessibility section.

Office attire/business casual. 

Yes, there will be photography and filming at all Space Investment Forum events. By agreeing to participate at the event you are giving us permission to photograph you or film you, and for us to use any such photos or filmed content for any purpose we may choose, such as for marketing or publicity purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, or do not wish to give us permission to use any such photographs or filmed content please do let us know before the event by emailing customer.service@dods-events.com and specifically stating that you do not want to be photographed or filmed, or that you do not give permission for use of photographs or filmed content as applicable, also stating which event you are attending.

Up to two hours will be allocated for 1-2-1 meetings during each event, where there will be 15-minute pre-arranged meetings between investors and innovators seeking investment. Once your application has been successful there will be some instructions sent to you on how the 1-2-1 meetings will be arranged and how each delegate's schedule will be created. After this you will be provided with a schedule of meetings based on who is matched best.

There will be a software called Slido operating on the day, which allows you to ask questions via your phone for the speakers to see and answer on the day, as well as roving microphones. We will also be sending out surveys after the event to ensure that we are capturing delegates’ experiences.
